Будучи экономистом по профессии и посвятив немало лет предпринимательской деятельности, в 31 год я решил создать галерею Milenium Gallery, и осталось совсем немного времени для того, чтобы мое детище увидело свет.

В 21 год я получил высшее образование по специальности «Экономика» — теоретической области знаний с множеством норм. Несмотря на отсутствие богатой эмпирической базы и столь далекие от реальности гипотезы, экономика всегда вызывала у меня интерес. Однако считается, что студент, выбравший эту отрасль, должен с головой погрузиться в мир финансов, иначе он потерпит полное фиаско. Именно поэтому я начал работать в одном из финансовых учреждений столицы Ирландии, посреди арф и туканов, изображенных на округлых бородах краснокожих…

Economiste consacré au monde de l’entreprise depuis de nombreuses années et âgé de 31 ans, j’ai décidé de créer Milenium Gallery qui représente pour moi un nouveau-né.

J’ai fini mes études d’Économie à l’âge de 21 ans. Il s’agit d’un monde très théorique et réglementé qui m’a toujours plu malgré le fait d’être une science peu empirique basée sur des hypothèses éloignées de la réalité. Il semblerait donc qu’un élève de cette branche soit destiné au secteur des finances, sinon, le monde est fini pour lui. J’ai donc commencé à travailler dans un établissement financier de la capitale irlandaise, parmi des harpes et des toucans dessinés sur les barbes arrondies des peaux rouges.

Mais tout a son moment dans la vie et un jour je me suis submergé dans le monde de la formation, une activité merveilleuse malgré les situations que nous font subir nos vieux politiciens.

Heureusement pour moi, le soutien familial m’a éloigné de l’aliénation à laquelle nous soumet la société actuelle. Pour moi, la beauté de l’intangible va au-delà de n’importe quel papier avec une tête imprimée dessus. Et je dois cela à mes parents qui m’ont obligé, dès mon enfance, à voir les salles des musées où ils allaient, bien que cela semblât une punition à l’époque. Je ne sais plus à quel moment le monde s’est arrêté de tourner lorsque je contemplais une œuvre d’art, mais je sais par contre qu’ainsi est né mon intérêt envers l’art.

MILENIUM GALLERY est la fille de la Galerie d’Art La Zubia, une galerie familiale néée il y a trois ans qui a accueilli des peintres exceptionnels (je ne nommerai que quelques-uns, tels que Galán Polaino, Antonio Capel, Pedro Roldán, Josep Baqués, Germán Aracil, Manuel Barahona ou Francisco Trigueros et d’autres plus jeunes qui ont un grand avenir du fait de leur CV et sur lesquels nous avons misé, tels que Albert Sesma ou Antonio Barahona.

J’ouvre aujourd’hui cette galerie pour que les personnes qui pensent que le monde tourne trop vite, puissent en sortir et puissent arrêter le temps en contemplant la beauté pure.

The Milenium Gallery opens in the city centre on 7th March 2014.

As an economist dedicated to the business world for a very long time, I decided to create the Milenium Gallery at age 31. To me, the gallery was like a child about to be born.

At 21 I finished my studies in Economics, a discipline full of theories and rules. Although it is not very empirical, being based on hypotheses far removed from reality, I’ve always liked economics. However, it seems that the only direction that a student who enters that branch of studies can take is the finances sector or his future will be ruined. Thus, I ended up working for a financing company in the capital of Ireland, amidst harps and toucans sketched in the round chins of Native Americans.

But there is a time for everything in life. The time came to be immersed in the world of training. It’s a great thing to do, despite the scenarios we are placed in by the fluctuating decisions of outdated politicians.

Fortunately, traces of my family upbringing kept me away from the alienation we are subject to in today’s society. In my opinion, intangible beauty is worth much more than a piece of paper with someone’s face printed on it. Perhaps I owe that to my parents, who forced me to see one room of every museum they took me to during my childhood. At the time it seemed to be pure torture. I’m not sure when the world began to come to a halt when I gazed at a work of art, but I do know that it is how my interest in art began.

MILENIUM GALLERY is the offspring of the La Zubia Art Gallery, a family gallery that was born three years ago and has shown works by painters with extraordinary talent, such as Galán Polaino, Antonio Capel, Pedro Roldán, Josep Baqués, Germán Aracil, Manuel Barahona and Francisco Trigueros, and some young artists whose extensive resumes point to a promising future, such as Albert Sesma and Antonio Barahona.

Today we open this gallery to those who feel that the world is turning so fast that they would like to step off and hold back time while they gaze at pure beauty.

年3月7日，位于格拉纳达市中心的千禧年画廊将敞开它的大门。

我以经济学为专业、多年从商，在31岁时正式决定创办千禧年画廊，对我而言，它就像一个等待出生的宝贝。

21岁时，我结束了经济学的学习，经济学注重理论和规范，是一个基于假设、远离事实、实证性不强的学科，这一点让我非常喜欢它。但似乎如果一个学生想从事这方面的工作，那么一定要向金融发展，否则世界就要崩塌了一样。因此，我去了爱尔兰，一个以竖琴和犀鸟、红皮肤络腮胡而知名的国家，并在首都的一家金融机构工作。

由于人生中的机缘巧合，我在培训界崭露头角，尽管由于过时而变幻莫测的政策，我们有时会经历沉浮，培训仍然是一个美妙的活动。

幸运的是，家的港湾让我远离了当今社会的浮夸。对我来说，每张画纸上的面容所带的无形的美，更加具有吸引力。这可能是由于小时候，父母强制性带我去每个博物馆的艺术厅参观的缘故。当时那简直是个难以忍受的惩罚，但我不知从何时起，开始流连并欣赏作品。我敢肯定，我对艺术的兴趣就是从那时起，油然而生。

MILENIUM GALLERY（千禧年画廊）是La Zubia美术馆的分馆。La Zubia是一个家族艺术馆，三年前正式成立，精选优秀画家的作品。这些画家有Galán Polaino、Antonio Capel、Pedro Roldán、Josep Baqués，Germán Aracil, Manuel Barahona和Francisco Trigueros。还有一些志存高远的年轻画家，如Albert Sesma和 Antonio Barahona，他们的作品也在我们这里展览过。
